Tim has been working in the ELICOS industry since 1999. He has extensive experience in education and marketing both abroad and in Australia. He has led both large and small teams and excels at creating and maintaining strategic relationships in an international environment.
Tim most recently completed his Masters of Communications and is also CELTA certified. Tim has worked in Australia, Japan, England, China, Korea and Taiwan in a variety of roles and is currently the Campus Manager at Discover English.

Almost a decade of experience in the international education sector, working both domestically and overseas, has prepared Joanna well for the challenges that Discover English provides. Jo brings a combination of enthusiasm and empathy to her position as Admissions Manager which stems from her personal experience immigrating to Australia to study in 2003.
Completing her masters in Marketing & Management has given Jo a high degree of insight into the business of education. Jo is an open and friendly communicator and enjoys helping students achieve to the best of their abilities during their time at Discover English.

Pat has been working in the ELICOS sector since 2004 and has taught general, academic and business English classes in Australia and Malta. She is a respected manager with a proven ability to develop and implement management strategies. Pat likes to keep up-to-date with changes in the industry through continuing professional development and is a founding member of the DOS Networking Group in Melbourne.
Pat holds accreditation as an IELTS examiner and has a Masters of Education (TESOL).

Junka has worked in the English education industry since 2004 with experience in both Australia and Japan. Having grown up in Japan, and with English as her second language, Junka understands the hopes and needs of international students studying away from home. Her experience working abroad and with learning another language helps her to understand students and to be able to assist them more readily.
Junka adopted Melbourne as her home in 2006 and is enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge with Discover English students and assisting them in any way. She believes that the extra student support services at Discover English will truly benefit the student and ensure they discover all that Melbourne has to offer.
Junka holds a commerce degree from Otaru University in Japan.

Samantha has worked in the TESOL industry since 2000 with experience in Australia, Japan, Scotland and France. She has taught and managed English language programs in both the public and private sectors and has coordinated international exchange and homestay programs.
Samantha holds a BA/BBus in Asian Studies and International Trade and post-graduate qualifications in TESOL and Secondary Education. Samantha is passionate about teaching English language and learning other languages; she speaks Japanese and has studied French and Spanish so understands the challenges students face with language acquisition.
